That’s me, ten years ago

That’s me - 10 years ago.

I had put up a small stall in my college TIET to market my first startup idea, Campus Kiosk!

A simple concept: help seniors sell their used books, drafters, and notes to juniors - basically OLX, but only for college campuses.

Little did I know that it would take me almost a decade to finally live the dream of building my own company full-time.

Today, I’m building UnsaidTalks full-time with an incredible team of 10, and when I look back, I feel deeply grateful that the energy, curiosity, and dreams I had back then are still alive within me ❤️

I still don’t fully know why I always wanted to build my own company.
But I do know this - it’s a dream I’ve carried with me every single day for more than 12 years.

Back then, nobody around me was building startups. I learned about entrepreneurship by watching TVF’s Pitchers (remember “Tu beer hai”? :p), random YouTube videos, and reading whatever I could get my hands on.

I knew I had blind spots, but I didn’t even know what those blind spots were.
So I kept learning - coding, marketing, sales - hopping careers, switching jobs, experimenting, failing, growing.

Until one day I could finally say:

  • “I have no FOMO anymore. Now, it’s all about execution.”

Spending a few years around multi-millionaires in Bangalore taught me something powerful: There are no secrets to fulfilling your dreams.
The only real ingredients are:
• Belief in yourself
• Relentless execution
• An always-learning mindset

The best part?
I never forced myself to start a company.

UnsaidTalks happened to me.

The problem we’re solving is deeply personal. I’ve lived it.
And we strongly believe that no student should feel they lack access to the right mentorship, guidance, content, or support to accelerate their career.
What took me years to figure out, I hope UnsaidTalks helps students achieve in a much shorter time - through our growing network of industry mentors.

Fun fact: The Facebook page of Campus Kiosk is still live with 160 followers 😄

Dreams evolve. Timelines differ. But belief, when paired with execution, always finds its way.
